Our preparation course for the special German medical language examination Fachsprachprüfung at the Medical Association is directed to international doctors / physicians with a B2-C1 level who wish to obtain the medical license in order to practice medicine in Germany.
Passing the German language exam Fachsprachprüfung for doctors is a prerequisite for the recognition of a foreign medical degree and to obtain a medical license in Germany (Approbation).
The German for Doctors course prepares international physicians for the specialist language examination Fachsprachenprüfung by focusing on specific medical topics.
Before starting the preparation course, we help you to define a realistic learning goal by taking into account your previous knowledge of the language, as well as the planned duration of the course. After our free placement test, you can start your language course at any time.
The course offers authentic medical examination situations, as well as subject-related German language practice in the four skills: German listening and reading comprehension, German speaking and writing skills.
You will train detailed medical vocabulary, doctor-patient conversations, communication with relatives, communication between doctors and nurses, writing of clinical reports, medical history taking, professional argumentation and negotiations and targeted medical terminology.
