What is the telc Exam?

telc stands for "The European Language Certificates" - the European Language Certificates. The development and organization of the internationally recognized system of standardized European language examinations is carried out by the nonprofit organization telc - language tests.

At level A2, you can easily communicate in typical everyday situations and have short conversations. You can use simple grammatical structures correctly.

The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 70 minutes. Without further preparation, you will usually take the oral exam immediately afterwards.

The telc Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD) B1 requires foreign adults in order to be able to prove that they have sufficient language proficiency when they are naturalized in Germany.

The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes. Before the oral exam you have 20 minutes preparation time. The oral test may take place on the day of the written test or on another day.

At level B2 you can express yourself clearly and in detail as well as successfully argue and negotiate. You have a large vocabulary in your own area of expertise and for most general topics. You master the grammar quite well.

The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 2 hours and 20 minutes. Before the oral exam you have 20 minutes preparation time. The oral test may take place on the day of the written test or on another day.

telc German C1 University | Course and Exam

The examination is designed for adults who wish to study at a German-speaking university or college, who are already studying or working in an academic profession and wish to prove their advanced German proficiency.

The "telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule" exam training as an afternoon course is for participants who have German language proficiency at the B2 + to C1 level and who would like to prepare intensively for the telc German C1 for University exam and train solution strategies.

These German courses prepare you systematically for the four subtests: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written and oral communication. In the exam training you will learn the most important strategies for solving the tasks and make the complete test procedure based on a model test.
