These type of courses are a combinaton of traditional face-to-face language training and online language courses. You can book online individual lessons or group hybrid standard/intensive courses, educational leave and evening courses.

A1 German Course in Düsseldorf

The German A1 level is the first German proficiency level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

At the A1 level, you will learn to use simple expressions and questions, introducing yourself and talking about everyday topics such as eating, drinking and living. You will be able to use simple grammatical structures. This level corresponds to very basic knowledge of the German language.

Who is the A1 German course intended for?

The A1 German course is suitable for people who want to learn the German language, apply for a job as an Au Pair in Germany or need proof of basic language skills for spousal reunification.

What are the entry requirements for the German A1 level?

The prerequisite is to take our German placement test to determine the appropriate language level. You can take the test at our school or online via our website.

 

How long will I need to reach the German A1 level?

In approximately 8 weeks you will have reached the A1 level.

Is there any exam at the end of the A1 level?

An internal test is always conducted after each level.

Alternatively, it is possible to take an official telc Deutsch A1 test at our licensed telc examination center.

The German B1 level is the third German proficiency level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

With a German B1 level you will be able to communicate in a simple and coherent way in everyday life, when traveling and in your own area of interest. You will be able to describe goals, justify opinions and report on experiences. You will be able to use the most important grammatical structures correctly in general. This level corresponds to the "Intermediate" level of the CEFR. This level is above basic knowledge, but course participants are not yet able to work or study exclusively in German. 

Who is the B1 German course intended for? 

Prerequisite is to have successfully completed German Level A2 or to prove the corresponding level through our placement test

 

How long will I need to reach the German B1 level? 

In about 8-10 weeks you will have reached the B1 level.

Is there any exam at the end of the B1 level? 

There is always an internal exam after each level.

The German B2 level corresponds to the "upper intermediate" level, at which you can act independently in German in various academic and professional environments.

The B2 German course is suitable for people who want to prove their fluency in German at an advanced level in their social and professional life.

What are the entry requirements for the German B2 level?

Prerequisite is to have successfully completed German Level B1 or to prove the corresponding level through our placement test.

You will be familiar with colloquial expressions and will be able to vary your linguistic style in a targeted manner. You will be able to maintain a high degree of grammatical correctness.

The German C1 level corresponds to the "advanced" level. At this level, you will communicate independently and with great precision on a wide range of topics and in almost any academic or professional environment without prior training.

Who is the C1 German course intended for?

The C1 German course is suitable for people who require advanced German language skills for social and professional situations or for university studies in Germany.

What are the entry requirements for the German C1 level?

Participants must have successfully completed German Level B2 or demonstrate the appropriate level through our placement test.

 

How long will I need to reach the German C1 level?

You will reach the C1 level after about 10-12 weeks.

Is there any exam at the end of the C1 level?

An internal examination is always conducted after each level. Alternatively, it is possible to take either a telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule official test at our licensed telc examination center or a TestDaF test at our TestDaF testing center.

In addition to the German C1 certificate, applicants from non-EU countries who wish to study at a German university and are looking for an alternative to the Studienkolleg can take the TestAS exam at our TestAS test center.

The C2 German course is aimed at students or graduates in Germany, job applicants or employees for professions that require outstanding German language skills, or advanced students of German abroad.

What are the entry requirements for the German C2 level?

It is required to have successfully completed the German level C1 or to prove the corresponding level through our placement test.

 

How long will I need to reach the German C2 level?

You will reach the C2 level after 12 weeks.
